Tryouts set for eXtreme Adrenaline

Club volleyball team eXtreme Adrenaline will hold tryouts from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Keaukaha Gym.

The club’s program will focus on “high skill level development and competitiveness, offensive/defensive systems, strengthening/conditioning and plyometrics; in addition to these components, it will be our goal to teach our athletes how the college recruiting process works and researching collegiate scholarship opportunities as well as working on mental toughness and individual skill Levels.”

Sunday’s session will be used to evaluate skill levels to fill an 18-and-under and 16-under team. Another session will be held after the Christmas weekend, date to be announced, pending turnout.

The head coach will be Kapono Picar, who has more than 13 years volleyball experience.

All athletes are welcomed no matter the school and should have a current sports physical, COVID vaccination verification or recent negative COVID test results, when they come Sunday.

A parent must sign a short emergency contact form Sunday at drop off.

RBI baseball sign-ups for ages 13-14

The Nobu Yamauchi RBI Organization is looking for boys or girls ages 13-14 (born Sept. 2007 to August 2009) for a baseball team
